Product Description

PRIME is the second step in the FEYNLAB optimal bonding system. After using FEYNLAB® PURE WASH (step 1) to clean the surface, PRIME is used as the decontamination or ‘clay bar’ lubricant.

The name is born from its function. PRIME fills in the micro voids of the paint structure with nano particles for an enhanced surface for coatings to adhere to. This increased surface area and chemical bonding allows all FEYNLAB® coatings unrivaled adhesion to the painted surface. The result is optimal ceramic nano coating durability and performance.

    I have been using this as clay lube since I first got my hands on it, I really notice the difference when performing a one step correction and coating as the instructions state. IT does work incredibly well as a lubricant for removing contaminants with clay, it wipes off easily if it flashes on the paint as well. I like the theory behind this product as well with how it helps to promote adhesion and can withstand a light polish.

DILUTION RATIO
For Clay Lubricant:
Mix to a 1:15 dilution. 1 part Concentrate to 15 parts Water in a spray bottle for clay lubricant (you can use the measurement tool on the bottle.)
For Surface Prep:
½ oz : 32 oz Spray Bottle


INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Clean the surface with FEYNLAB® PURE WASH or FEYNLAB® PURE RINSELESS to thoroughly clean surface of loose or topical contamination that might inhibit product effectiveness.
Prior to use, place vehicle in a well-lit, temperature-controlled 50°F-85°F (10°C-30°C), & contamination free environment.

For Clay Lubricant:

Apply liberally to panels in order to adequately lubricate the surface for a clay bar or decontamination mitt. After the physical decontamination is completed, simply wipe off any remaining product with a microfiber drying towel.

For Surface Prep (before ceramic coating, or laying vinyl / PPF):
  1. Use two clean microfiber towels: Towels A & B.
  2. LIBERALLY apply PRIME to saturate Towel A.
  3. Wipe Towel A thoroughly over the surface, leaving an even trail of product over the panel.
  4. Immediately follow with Towel B to dry and wipe the panel clear.
  5. Wait at least 10 minutes before applying ceramic coating, vinyl, or PPF


NOTES

PRIME penetrates so deeply into the paint’s structure, a large amount will remain after a single stage polish, helping to promote optimal adhesion and performance of all FEYNLAB coatings.
